MHS: Underclassmen Picture Day!

WhatUnderclass Picture Day (AND senior makeup picture day)
WhenWednesday, September 10th - all day
WhereMagnolia Gym
How: Students will be dismissed by homeroom from their regular schedule (we will NOT actually be in homeroom).  To avoid class interruptions, we will NOT be making all calls, so please pay attention to the time frames and announce to your students when they should leave.  A general guideline:
1st block: junior homerooms
2nd block: sophomore homerooms
3rd block: Woods students (and freshmen who are at Woods 4th block)
4th block: freshmen homerooms

Passes: Yearbook students will give students who are finished with their picture a pass back to class.  If students do NOT return with a pass, then they were not with us.

Buying Pictures: Crider’s Photography will do the same thing it did last year: EVERY student will receive a proof of their photo with the order form a few weeks AFTER picture day and return the proof to the front office.

Staff Pictures: You do NOT have to get your photo taken because the amazing Tracey Waid took them in August and is sharing them with yearbook.

Seniors: We will email you a list of seniors who need to report to the Magnolia Gym to take their senior picture.  We would appreciate it if you could send them down when they enter your class, please.  We will also be delivering passes throughout the day so we don’t miss any.

Make Up Pictures: make up picture day is October 7th

Troubleshooting
-Did students miss their assigned time slot? Go ahead and send them when they realize it.
-Please ask your students when they enter class if they got their picture during their assigned grade block/time, and if they missed it, please send them down.
-Please do NOT send ALL of your students down at once; however, if you only have a few students in the grade assigned for that block, send them down at the BEGINNING of the period together.
-Third period is available for teachers who have ALL freshmen to come down as a class.  Please contact Tiffany Cavicchia if you are interested.

Thank you: We understand and appreciate that picture day can be hectic, so please be patient with us.  We will have two stations set up and hope to move the students through as quickly as possible.
